Operation Plain Sight: 18 dogs and puppies in crisis

Deep in West Tennessee, a problem slowly unfolded, growing more desperate by the day for the dogs involved… and then crescendoing into a crisis.

It began when a man took in a couple dogs and did not spay and neuter them. They continued to breed uncontrolled, and when a medical emergency took him to the hospital, relatives discovered 18 neglected dogs and puppies living chained and penned on the property.

Upon discovering the situation, ARC quickly deployed for Operation Plain Sight. It got its name because these dogs were living in plain view of a nearby road, yet it took a medical emergency for them to get the help they needed. When they arrived, the Field Team immediately observed health conditions common with neglect in the dogs, including ear and eye infections, dermatitis, flystrike, fleas, multiple wounds, and more.

When ARC got the call, we said yes to helping. Yes, because no one else could or would help these dogs. And yes, because compassionate Animal Rescue Corps supporters like you stand with ARC to help these deserving dogs.

The dogs are being transported to the Rescue Center where they can begin to heal. These dogs are receiving the care and veterinary attention they deserve. Later they will be matched with our placement partners to find loving forever homes.

With your help, their new lives begin now.
