An Exciting Fun Run for the Whole Family
The Rescue Run 5K and Family Fun Run raises money to protect animals through a Thanksgiving Day 5K race and a 1-mile family fun run, benefiting Animal Rescue Corps. The 2024 Rescue Run was formerly the Turkey Trot 5k — the same great race with a new name.

About Us
The Tommy Crockett Memorial Rescue Run at Two Rivers Ford consists of a timed USA-TF certified 5K course and 1-mile family fun run.
The Rescue Run is more than just a race. It is an opportunity to get off the couch and get active with the family while celebrating the start of the season of giving.
To add more fun for the whole family, we welcome strollers and well-socialized, leashed dogs.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals are awarded to the fastest male and female runners in each of a dozen+ age groups and an additional trophy and gift basket are awarded to the fastest male and female overall winners.
2024’s Rescue Run 5k will take place at 8:30 AM on November 28, Thanksgiving Day after the 1 mile Family Fun Run at 8 AM. Registration for both events opens on August 6, 2024.
