Mayfield, KY – Animal Rescue Corps’ (ARC) Emergency Response Team was on the ground in Mayfield, Ky., delivering critically-needed equipment and supplies to the Mayfield-Graves County Animal Shelter and assisting to organize an emergency animal food pantry for this area destroyed by violent tornadoes.

Animal Rescue Corps was contacted by BISSELL Pet Foundation’s National Shelter Alliance Program as they worked to match alliance members who could respond to the needs of this devastating natural disaster and called upon ARC to support one of the hardest-hit regions across multiple states. Working directly with and at the invitation of the Mayfield-Graves County Animal Shelter to support their efforts, skilled Animal Rescue Corps teams immediately got to work delivering emergency animal sheltering equipment, such as cages, crates, and pee pads. ARC’s teams then assisted with the set up of a companion animal food distribution center before taking to the streets to deliver supplies and aid to those in need.
