Eleven dogs and cats in urgent need of emergency rescue

Heading into the holidays, law enforcement in rural Tennessee urgently called Animal Rescue Corps to help with the emergency rescue of 11 surrendered animals with nowhere else to go—2 emaciated Great Danes, 3 pit bulls, and 6 cats. Officers had no shelter options in their county, and with temperatures dropping into the teens this week, these animals couldn’t wait. At least two of the dogs suffered from active infections from untreated bite wounds.

The dogs and cats are being transported back to ARC’s Rescue Center to receive medical, physical, and social care. As they are ready, each one will be matched and transported within ARC’s network of vetted, compassionate placement partners, where they will find the loving homes they’ve always deserved.

With your help, their new lives begin now.

This holiday season, your donation today will fuel all of ARC’s lifesaving work and give these animals—and others still waiting—a chance at safety, warmth, and a future.

If you are in a position to help today with a donation to support ARC’s work, please do.

And, if you are in a position to volunteer, please sign up today. Opportunities are always available in ARC’s Rescue Center outside Nashville, TN, as well as sometimes nationally and beyond. We sometimes offer travel stipends.
